Year in Review 2022: Thank You!

Year in Review 2022: Thank You!

It’s officially a wrap for 2022. Thank you for sharing our journey with us this year! We started hōm in April 2022, combining our love for homeware with something we hold close to us - wellness. While wellness transcends a wide spectrum of areas, we chose to begin our contribution with Mental Health, a topic we both value greatly.

Mental Health Awareness x Community

With your help in the past year from both our online and offline channels, we were able to donate $213 to the Singapore Association of Mental Health. Your contribution will help make mental health services accessible and mental health shareable.

Reflections from 2022

Cal

This was one of the toughest years I’ve had professionally, but I’m glad I stuck through it because I got to learn a lot of things and meet a lot of good people. Thank you! It’s also a year that’s emphasised the importance of taking care of myself both physically, mentally and emotionally. The Wellness Wednesday segment driven by Van serves as a wonderful reset for me to really slow down, rest and be intentional with my energy. This has carried me throughout the year and has helped to focus so definitely check this out if you haven’t!

Courage and Opportunities are my keywords for 2023. May these words give you the strength to pursue whatever open chances that life presents in front of you in the coming year. Take courage :)

Van

2022 has been the toughest but most fulfilling year yet. Looking back, it’s surreal to see the brand and community Cal and I have built! We are so so grateful for this opportunity to share our love for homeware and wellness with you. Wellness Wednesdays was one way we could do this - by sharing our little nuggets of experience and musings, we hope to remind you (and ourselves) to take care of yourself and that you are not alone in whatever you are facing.

For 2023, my focus word is Rest. 2022 was a year of constant striving and doing, which led me to lots of crashes and burns. But I have come to realise that life is a marathon, not a race. May we prioritise filling our own cups this year (pun intended!), so that we can go the distance!
